AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 2637 

2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2637 on page 3, by 
3replacing lines 4 through 16 with the following:
4    "(a) Beginning January 1, 2027, a person or entity shall 
5not manufacture a food product for human consumption that 
6contains any of the following substances:
7        (1) Brominated vegetable oil (Chemical Abstract 
8    Services number 8016-94-2).
9        (2) Potassium bromate (Chemical Abstract Services 
10    number 7758-01-2).
11        (3) Propylparaben (Chemical Abstract Services number 
12    94-13-3).
13        (4) Red dye 3 (Chemical Abstract Services number 
14    16423-68-0).
15    (b) Beginning January 1, 2028, a person or entity shall 
16not sell, deliver, distribute, hold, or offer for sale a food 
17product for human consumption that contains any of the 
18substances listed in paragraphs (1) through (4) of subsection

2    (c) A person or entity that violates subsection (a) or (b) 
3shall"; and
 
4on page 3, line 22, by replacing "(c)" with "(d)".
