SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Appropriates $1,300,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity for a grant to the Springfield Park District for construction of 14 new pickleball courts, perimeter fencing, additional parking, and lighting at Centennial Park and for the construction of 4 additional pickleball courts at Iles Park. Effective immediately.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The sum of $1,300,000, or so much of that sum as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity for a grant to the Springfield Park District for construction of 14 new pickleball courts, perimeter fencing, additional parking, and lighting at Centennial Park and for the construction of 4 additional pickleball courts at Iles Park.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon becoming law.
