SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Makes specified appropriations to the Legislative Information System, Legislative Printing Unit, Legislative Audit Commission, Legislative Reference Bureau, Joint Committee on Administrative Rules, Architect of the Capitol, and Legislative Ethics Commission, and Legislative Inspector General for their ordinary and contingent expenses in the fiscal year beginning on July 1, 2023. Effective July 1, 2023.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Article 1
Section 5. The sum of $1,965,500, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Architect of the Capitol to meet its ordinary and contingent expenses for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2024.
Section 10. The sum of $1,140,700, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Joint Committee on Administrative Rules to meet its operational expenses for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2024.
Section 15. The sum of $475,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Legislative Audit Commission to meet its operational expenses for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2024.
Section 20. The sum of $200,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated to the Legislative Ethics Commission to meet the ordinary and contingent expenses of the Commission for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2024.
Section 25. The sum of $920,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund for Legislative Inspector General its ordinary and contingent expenses for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2024.
Section 30. The sum of $6,166,700, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Legislative Information System to meet its operational expenses for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2024.
Section 35. The following sum, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Assembly Computer Equipment Revolving Fund to the Legislative Information System:
For Purchase, Maintenance, and Rental of
General Assembly Electronic Data Processing
Equipment and for other operational purposes
of the General Assembly...................... $1,600,000
Section 40. The sum of $2,160,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Legislative Printing Unit to meet its operational expenses for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2024.
Section 45. The sum of $3,815,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Legislative Reference Bureau to meet its operational expenses for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2024.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2023.
