AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1960 

2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1960 on page 17, 
3line 14, by replacing "right of way" with "right-of-way"; and
 
4on page 17, immediately above line 24 by inserting the 
5following:
6    "(a-5) Subject to the restrictions of this Section, the 
7Department of Natural Resources may authorize and regulate the 
8operation of low-speed electric scooters on any or all 
9properties owned, managed, or leased by the Department of 
10Natural Resources including, but not limited to, sidewalks, 
11trails, or other public rights-of-way where the operation of 
12bicycles is permitted. The use of low-speed electric scooters 
13within any property that is owned, managed, or leased by the 
14Department of Natural Resources is allowed only if authorized 
15by the Department of Natural Resources. The Department of 
16Natural Resources is authorized to adopt administrative rules 
17for the regulation of low-speed electric scooters on any and
