SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Appropriates $5,000,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Human Services for the purpose of making a grant to Laureus Sport for Good Foundation USA for program and operating expenses for youth development-based sports initiatives. Effective July 1, 2023.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The sum of $5,000,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Human Services for the purpose of making a grant to Laureus Sport for Good Foundation USA for program and operating expenses for youth development-based sports initiatives.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2023.
