4 | | 1, on page 7, line 13, before " Violations ", by inserting " The |
5 | | Department may take disciplinary action against a medication |
6 | | aide, including, but not limited to, suspension or revocation |
7 | | of the medication aide's certification, for gross |
8 | | negligence. "; and |
9 | | on page 7, immediately below line 19, by inserting the |
10 | | following: |
11 | | " (u) To ensure transparency and the well-being of |
12 | | residents, a facility is required to provide information about |
13 | | medication administration via certified medication aides in |
14 | | its admission agreements so that residents and their families |
15 | | understand the addition of certified medication aides as |
16 | | members of the healthcare team. "; and |
