| 7 | | Sec. 8-13a. Agreements related to solar energy. In |
| 8 | | addition to any other power or authority granted under this |
| 9 | | Code, a park district may enter into a lease, contract, or |
| 10 | | other agreement related to the acquisition of solar energy, |
| 11 | | including the installation, maintenance, and service of solar |
| 12 | | panels, equipment, or similar technology related to solar |
| 13 | | energy, for a period not to exceed 2.5 times the term of years |
| 14 | | provided for in Section 8-13 when authorized by the |
| 15 | | affirmative vote of two-thirds of the governing board of the |
| 16 | | park district.
