SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Appropriates $10,000,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning to fulfill its obligations under the Regional Planning Act, to enhance capacity to support additional comprehensive local and regional planning, and to facilitate access to federal funding. Effective July 1, 2023.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The sum of $10,000,000, or so much of that sum as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning to fulfill its obligations under the Regional Planning Act, to enhance capacity to support additional comprehensive local and regional planning, and to facilitate access to federal funding.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2023.
