Amends the Board of Higher Education Act. Provides that the Board of Higher Education shall compile, on a annual basis, a list of the most in-demand jobs in this State, along with the starting salary, the median salary, and the typical education level for those jobs. Provides that the Board shall make the list available to the public on its Internet website. Effective July 1, 2023.

| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The Board of Higher Education Act is amended by |
| 5 | | adding Section 9.43 as follows:
|
| 6 | | (110 ILCS 205/9.43 new) |
| 7 | | Sec. 9.43. In-demand job list. |
| 8 | | (a) The Board shall compile, on a annual basis, a list of |
| 9 | | the most in-demand jobs in this State, along with the starting |
| 10 | | salary, the median salary, and the typical education level for |
| 11 | | those jobs. |
| 12 | | (b) The Board shall make the list compiled under |
| 13 | | subsection (a) available to the public on its Internet |
| 14 | | website.

| 15 | | Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, |
| 16 | | 2023.
