1    AN ACT concerning government.
 
2    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
 
4    Section 5. The Director of the Department of Natural
5Resources, on behalf of the State of Illinois, is authorized
6to execute and deliver to Fulton Township, a unit of local
7government organized and existing under the laws of the State
8of Illinois, of the County of Whiteside, State of Illinois,
9for and in consideration of $1 paid to said Department, a quit
10claim deed to the following described real property, to wit:
 
11    A part of a parcel of land conveyed to the People of the
12    State of Illinois by Order Vesting Title filed as Case
13    Number 84 ED 515, more particularly described as:
 
14    The West 85 feet as measured perpendicular to the Westerly
15    right of way line of the abandoned Chicago, Burlington and
16    Quincy Railroad lying Westerly of the abandoned right of
17    way of the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific
18    Railroad as it extends over and across the East Half of
19    Section 11, Township 22 North Range 3 East of the Fourth
20    Principal Meridian in Whiteside County Illinois, excepting
21    that part thereof conveyed to Fulton Flood Control
22    District, Whiteside County, Illinois, described as

1    follows, to wit: All of the 100-foot wide right of way to
2    Burlington Northern, Inc.'s former Fulton to Ebner,
3    Illinois Branch Line as it crosses the Southwest Quarter
4    of the Southeast Quarter and the Southerly 200 feet of the
5    Northwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 11,
6    Township 22 North, Range 3 East of the Fourth Principal
7    Meridian, Whiteside County, Illinois, in a Northeasterly
8    and Southwesterly direction.
 
9    Section 10. The conveyance of real property authorized by
10Section 5 shall be made subject to: (1) existing public
11utilities, existing public roads, and any and all
12reservations, easements, encumbrances, covenants, and
13restrictions of record; and (2) the express condition that if
14said real property ceases to be used for public purposes, it
15shall revert to the State of Illinois, Department of Natural
16Resources.
 
17    Section 15. The Director of Natural Resources shall obtain
18a certified copy of the portions of this Act after its
19effective date and, upon receipt of the payment required by
20Section 5, shall record the certified document in the
21Recorder's Office in the County in which the land is located.
 
22    Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
23becoming law.
