AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1066 




2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1066 by replacing 
3everything after the enacting clause with the following:


 
4    "Section 5. The Director of the Department of Natural 
5Resources, on behalf of the State of Illinois, is authorized 
6to execute and deliver to Lake County, a body politic 
7organized and existing under the laws of the State of 
8Illinois, for and in consideration of $1 paid to said 
9Department, a quit claim deed to the following described real 
10property, to wit:
 
11    PARCEL 1:


12    That part of the Northwest Quarter of Section 9, Township 
13    44 North, Range 9 East of the Third Principal Meridian, in 
14    Lake County, Illinois, bearings and distances are based on 
15    the Illinois Coordinate System, NAD 83(2011) East Zone, 
16    with a combination factor of 0.9999453206, described as

24    Section 10. The conveyances of real property authorized by 
25Section 5 shall be made subject to:  (1) existing public

1utilities, existing public roads, and any and all 
2reservations, easements, encumbrances, covenants, and 
3restrictions of record; and (2) the express condition that if 
4said real property ceases to be used for public purposes, it 
5shall revert to the State of Illinois, Department of Natural 
6Resources.
 
7    Section 15. The Director of Natural Resources shall obtain 
8a certified copy of the portions of this Act within 60 days 
9after its effective date and, upon receipt of the payment 
10required by Section 5, if any payment is required, shall 
11record the certified document in the Recorder's Office in the 
12county in which the land is located.
 
13    Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon 
14becoming law.".
