| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 | | Representatives wish to congratulate Chloe McAdams, an eighth |
| 4 | | grader at St. John the Evangelist School in Carrollton, on |
| 5 | | placing first in the discus throw at the 2024 Illinois |
| 6 | | Elementary School Association (IESA) Class 1A 8th Grade Girls |
| 7 | | State Track and Field Meet; and
|
| 8 | | WHEREAS, While placing first, Chloe McAdams also set the |
| 9 | | state record in discus with a distance of 32.11 meters, making |
| 10 | | her the state record holder for both the seventh grade and |
| 11 | | eighth grade girls discus events; she also holds her school's |
| 12 | | record for the eighth grade girls shot put event; and
|
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Chloe McAdams was given the additional honor of |
| 14 | | reading the Athlete Pledge before the start of the 2024 IESA |
| 15 | | Class 1A 8th Grade Girls State Track and Field Meet; and
|
| 16 | | WHEREAS, Chloe McAdams was led by Coach Kara Albrecht; |
| 17 | | therefore, be it

| 18 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE |
| 19 | | HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
