HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives wish to congratulate the Blessed Sacrament 
4School 7th grade girls volleyball team, the Bruins, on winning 
5the Illinois Elementary School Association 2022-23 Class 2A 
6State Championship; and
  
 
  
7    WHEREAS, The Bruins went undefeated throughout their 
8season, finishing with a record of 30 wins and 0 losses on 
9their way to the championship; and
  
 
  
10    WHEREAS, The Bruins are coached by Jessica Barcik, 
11Patricia Nikson, and Heather Sobieski; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, The members of the Bruins are Addi Maddox, 
13Addison Nikson, Carys Caton, Grace Decatoire, Hannah Barcik, 
14Kaitlyn Sobieski, Kylie Petropoulos, Lexi Kotner, Lucia 
15Thompson, Lucy Ambrose, Mary Kate Ozyurt, Natalie Jacobs, and 
16Samaria Bakamba; therefore, be it
  
 
17    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE 
18HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
19we congratulate the Blessed Sacrament School 7th grade girls 
20volleyball team, the Bruins, on winning the Illinois 
21Elementary School Association 2022-23 Class 2A State
