| 2 | | WHEREAS, The U.S. Census Bureau has admitted that they |
| 3 | | undercounted the State of Illinois during the 2020 Census; |
| 4 | | therefore, be it
|
| 5 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE |
| 6 | | HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
| 7 | | we urge the Biden Administration to adjust federal funding |
| 8 | | levels for undercounted areas and to see that Illinois |
| 9 | | receives the funds appropriate to its actual population, not |
| 10 | | the undercount; and be it further
|
| 11 | | RESOLVED, That the State of Illinois should take all |
| 12 | | appropriate steps to ensure undercounted communities within |
| 13 | | the State receive their proper funding; and be it further
|
| 14 | | RESOLVED, That suitable copies of this resolution be |
| 15 | | delivered to President Biden and Governor Pritzker.
