SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Appropriates $1,000,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity to provide youth sports leagues with grants to certify and train new referees ages 16 and above. Effective July 1, 2023.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The amount of $1,000,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity to provide youth sports leagues with grants to certify and train new referees ages 16 and above.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2023.
