SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Appropriates $2,500,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity for a grant to the Chicago Park District for costs associated with lifeguard wages. Effective July 1, 2023.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The sum of $2,500,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity for a grant to the Chicago Park District for costs associated with lifeguard wages.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2023.
