SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Appropriates $5,000,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Human Services for grants to community-based organizations for costs associated with community navigators for the Medicaid redetermination process. Effective July 1, 2023.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The sum of $5,000,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Human Services for grants to community-based organizations for costs associated with community navigators for the Medicaid redetermination process.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2023.
