SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3to learn of the death of June Dallas Peden-Stade of Auburn, who
4passed away on December 22, 2022; and
 
5    WHEREAS, June Peden-Stade was born to Ali Peden and Adam
6Stade in Springfield on August 20, 2019; and
 
7    WHEREAS, Through the Make-A-Wish Foundation, June
8Peden-Stade had a parade held in her honor in Auburn on
9December 17, 2022, which brought together hundreds of people
10and organizations; and
 
11    WHEREAS, June Peden-Stade loved being with her family and
12friends, spending time outside, all animals, gardening,
13cooking, and taking trips to the farmers market; and
 
14    WHEREAS, June Peden-Stade was known for her strong spirit
15and bright personality; she will be remembered for touching
16the hearts of many in her short life; and
 
17    WHEREAS, June Peden-Stade was preceded in death by her
18great-grandmother, Janet Nolan; her great-grandfathers, Hallie
19Fulk and Ed Stade; and her dog, Biff; and

1    WHEREAS, June Peden-Stade is survived by her parents; her
2grandparents, Eric and Aticia Peden, Theresa Stade, and Dan
3Stade; her uncle, Ethan Peden; her aunts, Aubrey and Lauren
4Stade; her best friends, Sawyer, Jaxson, and Margo; and
5several extended family members; therefore, be it
 
6    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL
7ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
8June Dallas Peden-Stade and extend our sincere condolences to
9her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
10further
 
11    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
12presented to the family of June Peden-Stade as an expression
13of our deepest sympathy.
