SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3to learn of the death of Louis P. Vitullo of Glenview, formerly
4of River Forest, who passed away at the age of 77; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Louis Vitullo was a graduate of Fenwick High
6School in Oak Park, John Carroll University, and Loyola
7University School of Law; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Louis Vitullo served in the U.S. Army as an
9officer assigned to Korea; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Louis Vitullo was a partner with the former law
11firm Wildman, Harrold, Allen & Dixon and led their municipal
12bond practice; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Louis Vitullo served as special counsel to
14Governor Walker and lead counsel for the campaign of Carol
15Moseley Braun, the nation's first Black female senator; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Louis Vitullo served as a board member of the
17Misericordia Men's Club and as chairman of the board of the
18Chicago Real Estate Investment Association; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Louis Vitullo was the chairman/president of the

1Way Back Inn in Maywood and a board member of and former
2chairman of WorldChicago; and
 
3    WHEREAS, Louis Vitullo loved to read and play golf and was
4extremely active in Alcoholics Anonymous; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Louis Vitullo maintained his sobriety by helping
6others maintain theirs; and
 
7    WHEREAS, Louis Vitullo was a Silver Gloves Boxing Champion
8at Fenwick High School and a Golden Gloves boxer in the
9Catholic Youth Organization and boxed professionally; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Louis Vitullo was the beloved husband of Joyce
11(Schaller); the loving father of Bret, Louis (Sarah), and the
12late Clint Vitullo; the proud grandfather of Philip Vitullo;
13the proud son of immigrants; the dear brother of the late Ralph
14(Elaine) Vitullo and the late Roseanne (late Paul) Proteau;
15and the fond uncle of seven; therefore, be it
 
16    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL
17ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
18Louis P. Vitullo and extend our sincere condolences to his
19family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
