SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3to learn of the death of Albert Brasmer of Rock Island, who
4passed away on August 5, 2022; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Albert Brasmer was born in Cable to Daisy Brasmer
6on October 20, 1946; he served in the U.S. Army and married
7Callie Henderson in Rock Island on December 21, 1970; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Albert Brasmer retired from the USPS in 2016
9after 21 years of working as a maintenance mechanic; prior to
10the USPS, he worked for Farmall International Harvester,
11Malco, Bear Manufacturing, and IBP; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Albert Brasmer was a kind and generous man and
13loved spending quality time with his family; he enjoyed
14fishing, camping, and traveling and was said to be a jack of
15all trades; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Albert Brasmer was preceded in death by his
17mother, Daisy Brasmer; his father; his brother, Edward
18Brasmer; and two nephews; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Albert Brasmer is survived by his wife, Callie;
20his children, Aaron Brasmer, Jeff (Donna) Brasmer, Cynthia

1Brasmer, and Jennifer (Terrence) Roberts; his grandchildren,
2Justin Brasmer, Kyle Taylor, Thomas Springer, Brittany
3Roberts, Tristan Roberts, and Trenton Roberts; his
4great-grandchildren, Avery and Arianna Brasmer; his sister,
5Judy (Earl) Blaylock; and four nephews; therefore, be it
 
6    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL
7ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
8Albert Brasmer and extend our sincere condolences to his
9family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
10further
 
11    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
12presented to the family of Albert Brasmer as an expression of
13our deepest sympathy.
