SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3to learn of the death of Mary L. Wright, who passed away on
4July 14, 2022; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Mary Wright was born to Bunester Robinson Nichols
6and William Nichols in Chicago on October 15, 1941; she
7graduated from Wendell Phillips High School; she later married
8James E. Wright, and they had two daughters; she was a
9long-time resident of Maywood, living there for over 40 years;
10and
 
11    WHEREAS, Mary Wright worked as a kitchen manager for Red
12Lobster for 20 years; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Mary Wright committed to her faith at an early
14age; she enjoyed spending time with her family, laughing,
15joking, and having a great time; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Mary Wright will be remembered for her soft and
17giving heart as well as her feisty attitude; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Mary Wright was preceded in death by her parents;
19her husband, James; and her daughter, Tabitha; and

1    WHEREAS, Mary Wright is survived by her daughter, Tracy D.
2Wright (Garrett Body); her grandchildren, Jeffery L. Thompson,
3Latreca E. T. Tabron, Larry E. Tabron III, and Garionna L.
4Body; therefore, be it
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
7Mary L. Wright and extend our sincere condolences to her
8family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
9further
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
11presented to the family of Mary Wright as an expression of our
12deepest sympathy.
