SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3to learn of the death of Richard "Whitey" J. Danielson of East
4Moline, who passed away on June 29, 2022; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Richard Danielson was born to Eldon "E. Kenneth"
6and Myrtle (Hansen) Danielson in Sioux Falls, South Dakota on
7March 5, 1946; he served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1965 to
81969; he married Teresa "Terry" Pervenanze in Port Byron on
9July 24, 1987; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Richard Danielson retired from the Rock Island
11Arsenal after more than 40 years of service; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Richard Danielson enjoyed watching NASCAR and
13being with his family and his beloved dog, Zeta; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Richard Danielson was preceded in death by his
15wife; his parents; his sister, Mary Jo Doud; and his brothers,
16Marvin and Denton "Red" Danielson; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Richard Danielson is survived by his children,
18Dawn (Bryan) Stone and Tammy (Albert) Burgess; his
19grandchildren, Amanda (Jason) Flaugh, Alexandria (Ryne)
20Parker, and Madison Streeter; his great-grandchildren, Noah,

1Leona Jo, Hallie, and Zoe Flaugh and Sebastian Parker; and his
2sisters, Lois Retzl and Elaine Foster; therefore, be it
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
5Richard "Whitey" J. Danielson and extend our sincere
6condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved
7him; and be it further
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
9presented to the family of Richard Danielson as an expression
10of our deepest sympathy.
