SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened 
3to learn of the death of Louis "Joe" Fox of Moline, who passed 
4away on December 31, 2021; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Joe Fox was born to Louis R. and Etta C. (Brummer) 
6Fox in Hannibal, Missouri on December 8, 1935; he graduated 
7from UTHS in 1955 and served in the U.S. Air Force; he married 
8Mary Lowe in Hannibal on June 9, 1962; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Joe Fox retired as an estimator for the former 
10United Rentals Traffic Technology; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Joe Fox was a member of the 1st Baptist Church in 
12East Moline and was very active in the Boy Scouts; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Joe Fox enjoyed fishing; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Joe Fox was preceded in death by his parents and 
15his grandmother, Iva Brummer; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Joe Fox is survived by his wife, Mary; his sons, 
17Joseph L. (Anita) Fox and John R. (Amie) Fox; his sister, Etta 
18Adams; and his extended family in the Hannibal, Missouri area;

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of

3Louis "Joe" Fox and extend our sincere
condolences to his 
4family, friends, and all who knew and loved
him; and be it 
5further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be

7presented to the family of Louis Fox as an expression of
our 
8deepest sympathy.
