SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3to learn of the death of Janet Kathryn Bogosian of Glen Carbon,
4who passed away on November 18, 2021; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Janet Bogosian was born to Richard Copeland and
6Dorothy (Stowe) Copeland in St. Louis, Missouri on October 11,
71941; she married Paul Bogosian in Springfield on July 27,
81959; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Janet Bogosian worked as a medical assistant for
10Dr. Felicia Koch and Dr. Ali Raffaas; she retired in 2005 after
11many years of dedicated service; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Janet Bogosian was a faithful member of St.
13Gregory Armenian Church in Granite City; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Janet Bogosian enjoyed going to the Fox Theatre
15with her best friends, Betty and Kay; her greatest joy was
16spending time with her family, and she cherished every moment
17spent with her children, grandchildren, and
18great-grandchildren; she loved life and loved to laugh; she
19never met a stranger and was always willing to lend a helping
20hand; and

1    WHEREAS, Janet Bogosian was preceded in death by her
2parents and her grandson, Bryan Wiesehan; and
 
3    WHEREAS, Janet Bogosian is survived by her devoted husband
4of 62 years, Paul Bogosian; her loving children, John (Carol)
5Bogosian, Paula (Andy) Costillo, and Jackie (Kenny) Wiesehan;
6her dear siblings, Mary (Wayne) Robinson and Richard (Lucinda)
7Copeland; her grandchildren, Nick (Ali) Costillo, Breanne
8(Adam) Leach, Michael (Francine) Bogosian, Emily Costillo, Dr.
9Rebecca Wiesehan, Sam (Taylor Peterson) Bogosian, Rachel (Jon
10Weisner) Wiesehan, and Jacob Bogosian; her
11great-grandchildren, Reese Leach and Harper Leach; her nieces
12and nephews; and her extended family and many wonderful
13friends; therefore, be it
 
14    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL
15ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
16Janet Kathryn Bogosian and extend our sincere condolences to
17her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
18further
 
19    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
20presented to the family of Janet Bogosian as an expression of
21our deepest sympathy.
