2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened |
3 | | to learn of the death of Jack E. Fitzpatrick of Rock Island, |
4 | | who passed away on November 6, 2021; and
|
5 | | WHEREAS, Jack Fitzpatrick was born to Frank N. and Martha |
6 | | M. (Lannoo) Fitzpatrick in Moline on January 17, 1932; he |
7 | | proudly served in the U.S. Air Force; he married Janet R. |
8 | | Hodson in Rock Island on January 5, 1958; and
|
9 | | WHEREAS, Jack Fitzpatrick worked in sales in a variety of |
10 | | roles and retired from Bonnett Wholesale Florist in 1994; and
|
11 | | WHEREAS, Jack Fitzpatrick was a longtime member of Good |
12 | | Shepherd Presbyterian Church in Rock Island where he served in |
13 | | various positions; he was also a member of former Rock Island |
14 | | American Legion Post #200; and
|
15 | | WHEREAS, Jack Fitzpatrick was an avid Chicago Cubs fan and |
16 | | enjoyed woodworking; above all, he loved spending time with |
17 | | his family; and
|
18 | | WHEREAS, Jack Fitzpatrick was preceded in death by his |
19 | | parents; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Elaine (Bob) Bonnett |
20 | | and Marilyn (Ben) Hodson; and his great-granddaughter, Emma |
