| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened |
| 3 | | to learn of the death of James Robert "Jim" Graham of Silvis, |
| 4 | | who passed away on September 21, 2021; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, James Graham was born to James and Marjorie |
| 6 | | (Kramer) Graham in Davenport, Iowa on November 24, 1930; he |
| 7 | | served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict; he |
| 8 | | married Geraldine Malmstrom in East Moline on June 2, 1962; |
| 9 | | and
|
| 10 | | WHEREAS, James Graham worked for the former East Moline |
| 11 | | State Hospital and the East Moline Correctional Center for 43 |
| 12 | | years; he retired as assistant chief engineer in 1994; and
|
| 13 | | WHEREAS, James Graham was a member of the Fraternal Order |
| 14 | | of Eagles and the East Moline American Legion; he loved |
| 15 | | fishing and adored his grandchildren; and
|
| 16 | | WHEREAS, James Graham was preceded in death by his |
| 17 | | parents; his sister, Carol Coder; and his brother, George |
| 18 | | Graham; and
|
| 19 | | WHEREAS, James Graham is survived by his wife of 59 years, |
| 20 | | Geraldine; his children, Tracey (Bob) Fulton and Jim Graham; |
