SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3to learn of the death of Louie K. Fisher of Port Charlotte,
4Florida, formerly of Milan, who passed away on December 26,
52020; and
 
6    WHEREAS, Louie Fisher was born to Kenneth and Myrtle
7Fisher in Rock Island on December 23, 1943; he served in the
8U.S. Army; he married Peggy Vincent in 1967; after her death in
91986, he later married Linda Warner; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Louie Fisher retired from JI Case after 30 years
11as a machinist; he was also the owner of Lou's Lawn Care of
12Milan; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Louie Fisher was a past commander of Milan
14American Legion Post 569; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Louie Fisher loved working around the house and
16being outside working in his flower garden and with his fruit
17tree; he was an avid fisherman and hunter who took many trips
18to Canada and southwest Iowa; most of all, he enjoyed spending
19time with his family and beloved golden retriever Chloe; and
 
20    WHEREAS, Louie Fisher was preceded in death by his first

1wife; his parents, Kenneth and Myrtle; and his sister, Joyce;
2and
 
3    WHEREAS, At the time of his death, Louie Fisher was
4survived by his wife, Linda; his children, Tammy (Jerry)
5Hudspeth and Jeff (Christiane) Fisher; his grandchildren,
6Jerry (Lauren) Hudspeth III, Jonathan Hudspeth, Natalie
7Fisher, Darin Fisher, and Brian Fisher; his brother, Michael
8(Lisa) Fisher; and his great-grandchildren, Violet Hudspeth
9and Donatello and Raphael Fisher; therefore, be it
 
10    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL
11ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
12Louie K. Fisher and extend our sincere condolences to his
13family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
14further
 
15    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
16presented to the family of Louie Fisher as an expression of our
17deepest sympathy.
