2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened |
3 | | to learn of the death of George L. McMahon, who passed away on |
4 | | September 29, 2020 at the age of 98; and
|
5 | | WHEREAS, George McMahon was born on February 17, 1922; and
|
6 | | WHEREAS, George McMahon was a resident of Burr Ridge at |
7 | | the time of his passing; he also once called Brookfield and |
8 | | Berwyn home; and
|
9 | | WHEREAS, George McMahon was a World War II Navy Seabee, |
10 | | who served in the Atlantic and Pacific theaters; and
|
11 | | WHEREAS, George McMahon was the longtime owner of McMahon |
12 | | Brothers Machine Works in Cicero; and
|
13 | | WHEREAS, George McMahon was preceded in death by his wife, |
14 | | Lorraine, and his sister, Mary (Albert) Muisenga; and
|
15 | | WHEREAS, George McMahon is survived by his son, Patrick M. |
16 | | McMahon, and his many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
|
17 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL |
