| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened | ||||||
| 3 | to learn of the death of Terry Lee Nuding of Rochester, who | ||||||
| 4 | passed away on February 20, 2021; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Terry Nuding was born in Kewanee on January 31, | ||||||
| 6 | 1942; he was the son of David Nuding and Karlene Ferguson; he | ||||||
| 7 | graduated from Lanphier High School in 1960; he earned his | ||||||
| 8 | master's degree in Guidance Counseling from Illinois State | ||||||
| 9 | Normal University; he married Sandra Hayes at St. John's | ||||||
| 10 | Lutheran Church in Springfield on August 27, 1965; and
| ||||||
| 11 | WHEREAS, Terry Nuding served as a guidance counselor at | ||||||
| 12 | Lanphier High School before embarking on a 30-year career as a | ||||||
| 13 | real estate agent in central Illinois; and
| ||||||
| 14 | WHEREAS, Terry Nuding served as the president of the | ||||||
| 15 | Capital Area Association of Realtors from 2010 to 2011; and
| ||||||
| 16 | WHEREAS, Terry Nuding enjoyed attending church, fishing, | ||||||
| 17 | golfing, playing cards, traveling, boxing, and coaching youth | ||||||
| 18 | sports; above all, he loved spending time with his family; and
| ||||||
| 19 | WHEREAS, Terry Nuding was preceded in death by his parents | ||||||
| 20 | and his father-in-law, Robert Hayes; and
| ||||||

| 1 | WHEREAS, Terry Nuding is survived by his wife of over 55 | ||||||
| 2 | years, Sandie; his brother, Michael Nuding; his sister, Linda | ||||||
| 3 | (Wayne) Morrison; his brother, Dennis Ferguson; his sister, | ||||||
| 4 | Melody Ferguson; his stepfather, William Ferguson; his son, | ||||||
| 5 | Tim (Bene) Nuding; his daughter, Jenny (Jeff) Brock; his son, | ||||||
| 6 | Tad (Patty) Nuding; his grandchildren, Drew Nuding, Winnie | ||||||
| 7 | Nuding, Sophie Nuding, Lucy Nuding, Will Nuding, Sam Nuding, | ||||||
| 8 | Adam Brock, Justin Brock, and Alex Brock; his mother-in-law, | ||||||
| 9 | Anita Hayes; his sisters-in-law, Kathleen Hayes, Nancy Drew, | ||||||
| 10 | and Therese (Dale) Phillips; and his brother-in-law, Bob | ||||||
| 11 | (Cheryl) Hayes; therefore, be it

| 12 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL | ||||||
| 13 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
| 14 | Terry Lee Nuding and extend our sincere condolences to his | ||||||
| 15 | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | ||||||
| 16 | further

| 17 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
