SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Appropriates $21,000,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority for the Violent Crime Witness Protection Program and Section 7.10 of the Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority Act. Effective July 1, 2022.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Article 1
Section 5. The sum of $20,000,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority for the Violent Crime Witness Protection Program.
Section 10. The sum of $1,000,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority for grants in accordance with Section 7.10 of the Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority Act.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2022
