1 | | activities through the 2021-2022 school year and to pursue the |

3 | | student's/your 22nd birthday. The student's/your IEP team, |

5 | | designated representative, may agree to change the student's |
6 | | IEP goals, services, or activities to make up for lost |
7 | | progress during COVID-19 or to write new goals to address new |
8 | | needs. |
9 | | To qualify for extended eligibility, the student must: |
10 | | 1. Have reached or will reach age 22 between March 17, |
11 | | 2020 and the end of the 2021-2022 school year. |
12 | | 2. Have had an IEP in effect between March 17, 2020 and |
13 | | the end of the 2021-2022 school year. |
14 | | 3. The student or the student's guardian or designated |
15 | | representative agrees to waive any claims the student may |
16 | | have for compensatory services due to events that occurred |
17 | | between March 17, 2020 and the date the student's IEP |
18 | | services and activities resume in the 2021-2022 school |
