SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Appropriates $500,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Children and Family Services, for grants to the Court Appointed Special Advocates of Cook County to advocate for the timely placement of children in permanent, safe, and stable homes. Effective July 1, 2021.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The amount of $500,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Children and Family Services, for grants to the Court Appointed Special Advocates of Cook County to be used to advocate for the timely placement of children in permanent, safe, and stable homes.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2021.
