HOUSE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Anthony
4"Ray" Little, who passed away on January 31, 2022; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Ray Little was born in Peoria to John Irby Sr. and
6Frankie Mae Little on June 21, 1957; during his childhood, he
7looked forward to Monday night skating parties with his dad
8and family at Fernwood Roller Rink; he was a great skater and
9worked as a rink security guard like his father; he was a
10member of the Rising Sun Christian Church; he attended Peoria
11public schools and later enlisted in the U.S. Army; he married
12Belinda Spencer in Peoria on February 11, 2010; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Ray Little had a special love for cars and
14enjoyed detailing them for others; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Ray Little loved men's fashion and rarely wore
16the same clothing twice; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Ray Little was preceded in death by his parents;
18his brothers, Eddie Joe Little and Anthony Irby; three
19grandchildren; his special mother, Bessie McClain-Irby; and
20his mother-in-law, Bessie Woods; and

1    WHEREAS, Ray Little is survived by his wife, Belinda; his
2sons, Tony Stuckey, Tyrone Brown, and De'Marco Spencer; his
3daughters, Danielle Matthews, Lakisha Butler, Precious
4(Kenneth) Ugbo, Latasha Spencer, and Shanika Spencer; his
5brothers, Kevin (Robyn) Little, John Irby Jr., Dennis Irby,
6Gary Irby, Brian (LaShawn) Irby, and Byron Irby; his sisters,
7Victoria Nealy, Debra McCall, Renay Mabry, Brenda Irby, Ivy
8Irby, and Latonya Irby; his special granddaughter, Denitria;
928 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and many
10aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends;
11therefore, be it
 
12    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE
13HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
14we mourn the passing of Anthony "Ray" Little and extend our
15sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew
16and loved him; and be it further
 
17    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
18presented to the family of Ray Little as an expression of our
19deepest sympathy.
