2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
3 | | Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Anthony |
4 | | "Ray" Little, who passed away on January 31, 2022; and
|
5 | | WHEREAS, Ray Little was born in Peoria to John Irby Sr. and |
6 | | Frankie Mae Little on June 21, 1957; during his childhood, he |
7 | | looked forward to Monday night skating parties with his dad |
8 | | and family at Fernwood Roller Rink; he was a great skater and |
9 | | worked as a rink security guard like his father; he was a |
10 | | member of the Rising Sun Christian Church; he attended Peoria |
11 | | public schools and later enlisted in the U.S. Army; he married |
12 | | Belinda Spencer in Peoria on February 11, 2010; and
|
13 | | WHEREAS, Ray Little had a special love for cars and |
14 | | enjoyed detailing them for others; and
|
15 | | WHEREAS, Ray Little loved men's fashion and rarely wore |
16 | | the same clothing twice; and
|
17 | | WHEREAS, Ray Little was preceded in death by his parents; |
18 | | his brothers, Eddie Joe Little and Anthony Irby; three |
19 | | grandchildren; his special mother, Bessie McClain-Irby; and |
20 | | his mother-in-law, Bessie Woods; and
|

1 | | WHEREAS, Ray Little is survived by his wife, Belinda; his |
2 | | sons, Tony Stuckey, Tyrone Brown, and De'Marco Spencer; his |
3 | | daughters, Danielle Matthews, Lakisha Butler, Precious |
4 | | (Kenneth) Ugbo, Latasha Spencer, and Shanika Spencer; his |
5 | | brothers, Kevin (Robyn) Little, John Irby Jr., Dennis Irby, |
6 | | Gary Irby, Brian (LaShawn) Irby, and Byron Irby; his sisters, |
7 | | Victoria Nealy, Debra McCall, Renay Mabry, Brenda Irby, Ivy |
8 | | Irby, and Latonya Irby; his special granddaughter, Denitria; |
9 | | 28 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and many |
10 | | aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; |
11 | | therefore, be it

12 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE |
13 | | HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
14 | | we mourn the passing of Anthony "Ray" Little and extend our |
15 | | sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew |
16 | | and loved him; and be it further

17 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
18 | | presented to the family of Ray Little as an expression of our |
19 | | deepest sympathy.
