|
2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
3 | | Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of |
4 | | Westchester Village President Frank J. Perry, who passed away |
5 | | on December 22, 2021; and
|
6 | | WHEREAS, President Perry was born in Westchester on |
7 | | December 30, 1970; he was raised in Westchester and graduated |
8 | | from St. Joseph High School; and
|
9 | | WHEREAS, President Perry was the former owner of Joe's |
10 | | Place Restaurant and Concetta's Salon; he also coached the |
11 | | Westchester girls' softball team for many years; he served as |
12 | | a village trustee for 10 years; and
|
13 | | WHEREAS, President Perry became village president of |
14 | | Westchester in April 2021; before and during his brief tenure, |
15 | | he started many initiatives that served the infrastructure, |
16 | | community, and morale of Westchester; he worked hard for and |
17 | | was dedicated to his community; and
|
18 | | WHEREAS, President Perry was a member of the West Central |
19 | | Municipal Conference and the Divine Infant Knights of |
20 | | Columbus; and
|

1 | | WHEREAS, President Perry was a devoted husband, father, |
2 | | family member, community member, and churchgoer; he was known |
3 | | for his infectious smile, his generosity, and the unending |
4 | | love he had for his community; he was a friend to many who will |
5 | | continue to honor his memory and work; and
|
6 | | WHEREAS, President Perry was the best friend and husband |
7 | | of Peggy (Cesarini) Perry; the father of Ava Lucia Perry; the |
8 | | son of the late Frank and Lucille Perry; the nephew of Gerald |
9 | | (Roe) Cantino; the cousin of Joey, Charlie, Caren, Cathy, and |
10 | | Geralyn; the son-in-law of Molly Williams and Joe Cesarini; |
11 | | and the companion of his dogs, Luca and Tino; therefore, be it
|
12 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE |
13 | | HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
14 | | we mourn the passing of Westchester Village President Frank J. |
15 | | Perry and extend our sincere condolences to his family, |
16 | | friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further
|
17 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
18 | | presented to the family of President Perry as an expression of |
19 | | our deepest sympathy.
