2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
3 | Representatives wish to congratulate Kim Morreale McAuliffe, | ||||||
4 | founder and CEO of Morreale Communications, on the occasion of | ||||||
5 | her firm's 15th anniversary; and
| ||||||
6 | WHEREAS, Kim Morreale McAuliffe founded Morreale | ||||||
7 | Communications in 2006, blending her background in journalism | ||||||
8 | and government to develop strategic communications for C-suite | ||||||
9 | executives, organizations, and opinion leaders; she began her | ||||||
10 | career as a news reporter and anchor; she later served as the | ||||||
11 | spokesperson for the Illinois Department of Transportation; | ||||||
12 | she started her company to help clients navigate the | ||||||
13 | intersection of business, media, policy, and people; and
| ||||||
14 | WHEREAS, Morreale Communications is a leading, mid-size, | ||||||
15 | certified public relations firm based in Chicago known in | ||||||
16 | transportation, health care, energy, utilities, and other | ||||||
17 | highly regulated industries; it provides clients with | ||||||
18 | strategic
message development, stakeholder engagement, | ||||||
19 | branding and
creative strategy, digital and social | ||||||
20 | communications,
diversity and inclusion, policy strategy, and | ||||||
21 | media relations; it employs over 25 people under an all-female | ||||||
22 | and minority leadership team and possesses a 90% female and | ||||||
23 | minority workforce; and

1 | WHEREAS, Morreale Communications' major milestones include | ||||||
2 | supporting strategies that resulted in a new full-interchange | ||||||
3 | in the Village of Huntley, increased funding for people with | ||||||
4 | disabilities, the launch of Illinois' medical cannabis | ||||||
5 | industry, and bringing UFC, the largest mixed martial arts | ||||||
6 | organization, to Illinois; it also began spearheading COVID-19 | ||||||
7 | response communications in 2020; and

8 | WHEREAS, Kim Morreale McAuliffe's leadership continues to | ||||||
9 | guide Morreale Communications to empower clients' voices and | ||||||
10 | deliver integrated communications solutions that connect, | ||||||
11 | engage, and educate audiences to transform outcomes; and
| ||||||
12 | WHEREAS, Kim Morreale McAuliffe lives in Chicago with her | ||||||
13 | husband of 14 years, Michael McAuliffe, and their children, | ||||||
14 | Conor and Bianca; | ||||||
therefore, be it

15 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE | ||||||
16 | HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that | ||||||
17 | we congratulate Kim Morreale McAuliffe and the employees of | ||||||
18 | Morreale Communications on their 15th anniversary, and we wish | ||||||
19 | them a bright future ahead; and be it further
