HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House are pleased to 
3congratulate Mayor Arlene Juracek of the Village of Mount 
4Prospect on her retirement; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Arlene Juracek was first elected as a Village 
6Trustee in 2007 and has dutifully served as Village President 
7since 2013; and
  
 
  
8    WHEREAS, Arlene Juracek was the Vice President of Energy 
9Acquisition at ComEd from 1972-2007; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Arlene Juracek served as Director of the Illinois 
11Power Agency from 2011 to 2013 and as the Chair of the O'Hare 
12Noise Compatibility Commission since 2015; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Arlene Juracek leaves a legacy of public service 
14and devotion to her community; therefore, be it
  
 
15    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE 
16HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
17we congratulate Mayor Arlene Juracek on her retirement and 
18commend her dedication and service to the
residents of Mount 
19Prospect; and be it further
