HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives wish to congratulate Michael A. Savage on the 
4occasion of achieving the coveted rank of Eagle Scout; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Michael Savage is a member of Scouts BSA Troop 
6399 of the Trailblazer District of the Pathway to Adventure 
7Council; he joined Scouts during kindergarten in elementary 
8school and rose through the ranks with great enthusiasm to 
9reach the rank of Eagle Scout; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, When deciding on his Eagle Scout project and 
11seeking to help homeless pets, Michael Savage chose to build 
12play equipment for the dogs awaiting adoption at the Almost 
13Home Foundation in Schaumburg; he also raised $100, which he 
14donated to the foundation as well; and
  
 

  
15    WHEREAS, After Michael Savage completed his Eagle Scout 
16project and Eagle Scout Board Review and committee members 
17submitted their recommendation to Scouts BSA of the Boy Scouts 
18of America in Texas, the rank of Eagle Scout was bestowed upon 
19him at an Eagle Scout Court of Honor in June of 2021; 
20therefore, be it
  
 
21    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE

1HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
2we congratulate Michael A. Savage on the occasion of achieving 
3the coveted rank of Eagle Scout and wish him continued success 
4and happiness in the future; and be it further
  
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to Michael Savage as a symbol of our esteem and 
7respect.
