SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Appropriates the sum of $250,000 to the Department of Corrections for a pilot remote learning program established by Public Act 102-966. Effective upon becoming law or January 1, 2023, whichever is later.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The sum of $250,000, or so much of that amount
as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue
Fund to the Department of Corrections for the pilot program for
remote learning for students in the custody of the Department of Corrections created under Public Act 102-966, effective May 27,2022.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon becoming law or January 1, 2023, whichever is later.
