SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Appropriates $3,000,000 from the Road Fund to the Rail Division of the Illinois Department of Transportation for the hiring of additional employees. Appropriates $5,000,000 from the Road Fund to the Illinois Department of Transportation High Speed Rail Commission for support and planning purposes. Appropriates $10,000,000 from the Road Fund to the Illinois Department of Transportation for engineering support. Effective July 1, 2022.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The amount of $3,000,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Road Fund to the Rail Division of the Illinois Department of Transportation for the hiring of additional employees.
Section 10. The amount of $5,000,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Road Fund to the Illinois Department of Transportation High Speed Rail Commission for support and planning purposes.
Section 15. The amount of $10,000,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Road Fund to the Illinois Department of Transportation for engineering support.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2022.
