Creates the State Employee Right of Action Act. Provides that a person, as an employee of the State, shall have the right to bring an action against the State agency that employs the person if the State agency adopts a rule or regulation that is related to public health, and the rule or regulation affects the person's continued employment with the State agency.

1 | | AN ACT concerning civil law.

2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

4 | | Section 1. Short title. This Act may be cited as the State |
5 | | Employee Right of Action Act. |
6 | | Section 5. Right of action. A person, as an employee of the |
7 | | State, shall have the right to bring an action against the |
8 | | State agency that employs the person if the State agency |
9 | | adopts a rule or regulation that is related to public health, |
10 | | and the rule or regulation affects the person's continued |
11 | | employment with the State agency, including, but not limited |
12 | | to, the suspension or termination of employment.
