1 | | AN ACT concerning property.
|
2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
3 | | represented in the General Assembly:
|
4 | | Section 5. Upon the payment by the Rend Lake Conservancy |
5 | | District of the sum of $673,333 to the State of Illinois, the |
6 | | Director of Natural Resources, on behalf of the State of |
7 | | Illinois and the Department of Natural Resources, shall convey |
8 | | to the Rend Lake Conservancy District by quitclaim deed all |
9 | | right, title, and interest of the State of Illinois and the |
10 | | Department of Natural Resources in and to the following real |
11 | | property, commonly known as the Southern Illinois Art and |
12 | | Artisans Center, situated in the Franklin County and described |
13 | | as follows: |
14 | | Part of the Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4) of the Northwest |
15 | | Quarter (NW 1/4) of Section Nineteen (19), Township Five |
16 | | (5) South, Range Three (3) East of the Third (3rd) |
17 | | Principal Meridian, more particularly described as |
18 | | follows: Beginning at a bureau of land management metal |
19 | | marker designated as AP 42 at the Northwest corner of the |
20 | | Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4) of the Northwest quarter of |
21 | | said Section 19; thence North 89°-46'-51" E along the |
22 | | North line of said Section 19 to an iron pin on the |
23 | | Westerly Right-of-Way of F. A. Route 126; a distance of |
