SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Appropriates $30,000,000 from the State Coronavirus Urgent Remediation Emergency Fund to the Department of Public Health to be used in furtherance of the purposes stated in specified provisions of the federal American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 and any associated federal guidance for the ordinary and contingent expenses of Illinois' certified local health departments. Effective July 1, 2022.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The amount of $30,000,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the State Coronavirus Urgent Remediation Emergency Fund to the Department of Public Health to be used in furtherance of the purposes stated in Section 9901 of the federal American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 and any associated federal guidance for the ordinary and contingent expenses of Illinois' certified local health departments.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2022.
