Amends the Loan Repayment Assistance for Physicians Act. To address the shortage of obstetrical services in rural communities, provides that a physician who provides obstetrical care and works at a privately owned rural health clinic in this State may qualify for assistance under the Act if all other established criteria are met. Effective immediately.

| 5 | | Act is amended by adding Section 27 as follows:

| 7 | | Sec. 27. Additional eligibility; Rural obstetrical |
| 8 | | services. To address the shortage of obstetrical services in |
| 9 | | rural communities, a physician who provides obstetrical care |
| 10 | | and works at a privately owned rural health clinic in this |
| 11 | | State may qualify for assistance under the program if all |
| 12 | | other established criteria are met.

| 13 | | Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |
| 14 | | becoming law.
