Amends the Infectious Disease Testing Act. Provides that, notwithstanding any provision of law to the contrary, any requirement for a person to demonstrate proof of COVID-19 vaccination shall be deemed to be met if a positive COVID-19 test or proof of the presence of COVID-19 antibodies is provided by that person. Effective immediately.

1 | | AN ACT concerning health.

2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

4 | | Section 5. The Infectious Disease Testing Act is amended |
5 | | by adding Section 15 as follows: |
6 | | (410 ILCS 312/15 new) |
7 | | Sec. 15. COVID-19 antibodies; vaccination requirements. |
8 | | Notwithstanding any provision of law to the contrary, any |
9 | | requirement for a person to demonstrate proof of COVID-19 |
10 | | vaccination shall be deemed to be met if a positive COVID-19 |
11 | | test or proof of the presence of COVID-19 antibodies is |
12 | | provided by that person.

13 | | Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |
14 | | becoming law.
