SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Makes appropriations to the State Board of Education from various funds for evidence-based funding under the School Code. Effective July 1, 2021.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The following amounts, or so much of those amounts as may be necessary, are appropriated to the State Board of Education for evidence-based funding under Section 18-8.15 of the School Code:
Payable from the Education Assistance Fund.. $328,529,000
Payable from the Common School Fund ...... $3,029,136,300
Payable from the General Revenue Fund..... $3,431,372,927
Payable from the Fund for the Advancement of
Education................................... $790,000,000
It is the intent of the General Assembly to provide sufficient appropriations in this Section to ensure that the base funding minimum and the minimum funding level provided for in the evidence-based funding requirements under Public Act 100-465 are met for Fiscal Year 2022.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2021.
