Amends the Intergovernmental Cooperation Act. Provides that any 2 or more school districts may, by intergovernmental agreement, establish a mutually beneficial technology exchange program to provide for the sharing of education resources, including computers, tablets, electronic readers, and other technology.

2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

4 | | Section 5. The Intergovernmental Cooperation Act is |
5 | | amended by adding Section 3.10 as follows: |
6 | | (5 ILCS 220/3.10 new) |
7 | | Sec. 3.10. School district technology exchange. Any 2 or |
8 | | more school districts as governed under the School Code may, |
9 | | by intergovernmental agreement, establish a mutually |
10 | | beneficial technology exchange program to provide for the |
11 | | sharing of education resources, including computers, tablets, |
12 | | electronic readers, and other technology.
