2 | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

4 | Section 5. The University of Illinois Act is amended by | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

7 | Sec. 120. Faculty tenure. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8 | (a) The Board of Trustees shall ensure the existence of a | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9 | tenure track for a defined percentage, to be set by Board | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10 | policy, of undergraduate faculty in which the criteria for | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
11 | securing tenure shall be predominantly devoted to all of the | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

18 | Section 10. The Southern Illinois University Management | ||||||
19 | Act is amended by adding Section 100 as follows: | ||||||
20 | (110 ILCS 520/100 new) | ||||||
21 | Sec. 100. Faculty tenure. | ||||||
