AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 1780 




2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 1780 on page 4, 
3line 1, by deleting "or"; and


 
4on page 4, by replacing line 3 with the following:
5    "required to perform kidney dialysis;
6        (11) drugs sold at retail as a unit dose package; or
7        (12) homeopathic drugs."; and
 
8on page 5, by replacing lines 20 and 21 with the following:
9    ""Proprietary information" means information that is:
10        (1) submitted under this Act;
11        (2) a trade secret or commercial or financial 
12    information that is privileged or confidential and is 
13    identified as such by the person providing the 
14    information; and
15        (3) not required to be disclosed under any other law, 
16    rule, or regulation affecting a covered drug, covered

1    manufacturer, or pharmacy."; and
 
2on page 14, immediately below line 24, by inserting the 
3following:
4    "The program promotion requirements under this Section do 
5not apply to any drug take-back program established prior to 
6the effective date of this Act that provides promotional or 
7educational materials to the public about the proper 
8collection and management of covered drugs."; and
 
9on page 18, line 6, by replacing "$5,000" with "$2,500".
