1    AN ACT concerning State government.
  
 
2    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
 
3represented in the General Assembly:
  
 
 
4    Section 5. The Department of Commerce and Economic 
5Opportunity Law of the
Civil Administrative Code of Illinois 
6is amended  by changing Section 605-30 as follows:
 



7    (20 ILCS 605/605-30)  (was 20 ILCS 605/46.41)



8    Sec. 605-30. State and federal programs, grants, and 
9subsidies. The Department shall use the State and federal 
10programs,
grants,
and
subsidies that are available to assist 
11in the discharge of the
provisions
of the Civil Administrative 
12Code of Illinois. The Department shall evaluate the 
13eligibility of special districts for State and federal 
14programs, grants, and subsidies based on eligibility 
15requirements set forth in their statutory charters.

17    Section 10. The Kaskaskia Regional Port District Act is 
18amended  by changing Section 18 as follows:

20    Sec. 18. 
The Port District has power to apply for and 
21accept grants, loans
or appropriations from the Federal and

1State Government or any agency or
instrumentality thereof, to 
2be used for any of the purposes of the District
and to enter 
3into agreements with the Federal and State Government in 
4relation to
such grants, loans or appropriations.
