2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
3 | | represented in the General Assembly:
|
4 | | Section 5. The Quasi-criminal and Misdemeanor Bail Act is |
5 | | amended by changing Section 4 as follows:
|

7 | | Sec. 4.
Whenever in any circuit there shall be in force a |
8 | | uniform schedule
prescribing the
the amounts of fines, |
9 | | penalties, forfeitures and costs on pleas
of guilty in |
10 | | specified minor conservation and traffic offenses, any circuit
|
11 | | clerk or deputy circuit clerk is authorized to receive written |
12 | | appearances,
pleas of guilty and waivers of trial and to |
13 | | accept and receipt for
payments, in satisfaction of the |
14 | | judgment to be entered upon the plea, in
accordance with the |
15 | | uniform schedule. The accused shall be furnished with
an |
16 | | official receipt on a form prescribed by such uniform schedule |
17 | | for the
purpose for any fine paid pursuant to this section. |
